  • Liana Andrews

    Liana Andrews, GROW Board Director, has two daughters enrolled in GROW programs with the Chalfonte Foundation. She founded Natural Collective Resources LLC in November 2020, a company dedicated to providing financial literacy to youth aged 12-17. Prior to this, she had worked in various roles, including for the US Department of Commerce Bureau of the Census, Detroit Public Library Sherwood Forest Branch, and Berkley School District. Her passion for growth and community service drives her entrepreneurship, and as profits increase, she hopes to hire an employee to assist with social media and online marketing. Liana's recent research interests include cryptocurrency and the foreign exchange market, and she enjoys spending time with her three children and participating in community events.

  • Bri Hayes

    Bri Hayes, BOD, Director of Chalfonte House, Detroit: Bri Hayes is a multidisciplinary artist, art educator, and the gallery director of detroit contemporary. She graduated from Oakland University in December of 2022 with her degree in K-12 art education. During her teaching internships she intersected her experience as an artist & gallerist into her classroom and taught her students about local visual & performing artists and made arrangements for her students to meet these individuals. Hayes believes there is great power and importance in art & cultural representation and education. She plans to enhance the lives of Detroiters and creatives of all ages through events and educational opportunities at detroit contemporary.

  • Rosita Kintz

    Rosita Kintz, Spiritual Director of MOM’s Weekend: “A Renaissance Woman with a Heart” Rosita Kintz,presently a Volunteer Coordinator for Visiting Nurse Service of Michigan Hospice, McLaren Health Services, Lansing, is in the process of writing her first book. This book will be about her companions who helped her on her grief journey! Years ago she lost two children, Stephenie and Marcus, to Cystic Fibrosis. It was in their memory that she established The Kintz Scholarship Fund, a tuition grant specifically designed to give assistance to children whose families need financial assistance in paying tuition for Catholic School.

  • Maureen Feighan-Kurth

    Maureen Feighan-Kurth, Director of Women’s Weekend: is a longtime Chalfonte volunteer, staffer, camper and former board member. A friend of founder James L. Meyer since childhood, the West Bloomfield resident's first camp experience at Chalfonte was in 1992 for One-Legged Debby Week. Since then, she's been a longtime member of Women's Weekend, a 30-year Chalfonte tradition, and a staff member for GROW (Girls Rule Our World). Feighan-Kurth is a longtime Metro Detroit journalist and mom of two who knows firsthand how a Chalfonte camp experience can change lives.

  • Jon Piercey

    Jon Piercey, Chalfonte Program Director: Working with nonprofits since 2006 in Detroit, Tennessee and India and now back to Detroit. Helping in coordinating events and programs for children, young adults, and adults. Managed various projects and activities from construction to kitchens and office situations. Hands-on and able to adjust for the given situation to see how to make the most of any situation. Enjoy bringing groups together to celebrate life. I Looking forward to being involved with various groups both in Detroit and elk rapids as well as being a part of the Ryan Giannini 11-legged lake tour.

  • Tom Petzold

    Tom Petzold, Past Chair and Advisory Board Member, is President of Petzold Enterprises, a family-owned commercial real estate development, and management company based in Harper Woods with a focus on neighborhood shopping centers. The company began in 1958 with the acquisition of Detroit’s Belmont Shopping Center at 8 Mile/Dequindre. Education: Georgetown University undergraduate and the University of Michigan MBA. Board member and former chairman of Eight Mile Boulevard Association. Family: Jeanne and children (Billy 25, TJ 24, Amanda 22, Colin 21) reside in Birmingham.

  • Miles Rose

    Miles Rose, BOD and Director of RGP: Miles draws his experiences from a wide range of different fields that have interested him throughout the years, from landscape flower gardening, to small scale construction, the recycling industry, organic vegetable and fruit farming, digital graphic design, animation, video production, and most recently, the tech industry as a Business Analyst. At this time, Miles has simplified his lifestyle so that he can primarily focus on his passions for organic vegetable gardening, small scale sustainable construction methods, off-grid energy and water systems, teaching, and helping others along the way to build resilient interdependent communities.

  • Kaylee Ross

    Kaylee Ross is the GROW Director and Chalfonte BOD. With a bachelor’s degree in Theatre Performance and a minor in Business Administration from Indiana University, Kaylee has pursued a career in Information Technology (IT) within the healthcare industry, driven by her passion for helping others. Kaylee's uncle, Jimeyer, holds a special place in her heart due to his invaluable support during a difficult time in her life. Through the resources and support of G.R.O.W, she was able to grow into the compassionate and dedicated woman she is today. Kaylee values the deep mental, emotional, and spiritual benefits of Chalfonte and G.R.O.W, having developed lifelong friendships through the organization. She is committed to the vision of Chalfonte and its various groups, seeking to give back to the community and enrich the lives of others.

  • Aaron Timlin

    Aaron Timlin, BOD and President is a poet, producer and plumber who was born, currently lives, and works in Detroit. He is the executive director pro tem of PuppetART, a nonprofit charity that serves youth and their communities in need; curator of the detroit contemporary, a visual and performance art gallery and gardens; founding member and director of the Detroit Culture Club, a private club for people who make or support arts and culture in Detroit; and, is founder and chair of the Detroit Broadcasting Company, an internet station soon to be broadcasting 24/7 music, news, educational, and entertainment programming for children and adults.

  • Brandon Walley

    Brandon Walley, Program Director of Detroit Broadcasting Company, is a filmmaker and curator based in Detroit, Michigan. Walley creates 16mm, Super 8mm, and digital film art that explores the abstractions between humanity, ecology, and technology. His films have been widely screened internationally. Walley has been Media City Film Festival’s Regional Artists Curator since 2008. He has been honored with Best Michigan Filmmaker Award from the Ann Arbor Film Festival and was an Artist Fellow with Kresge Arts in Detroit in 2020.
