The House Chalfonte House - 1980's Chalfonte House - Elk Rapids, Michigan Chalfonte House is the 125-year-old renovated Victorian home in Elk Rapids, Michigan, to which my parents retired in 1977 before they both died in the mid-1980s. Fr.Jim Meyer James L Meyer, aka “Jimeyer” has undergraduate degrees from Sacred Heart Seminary College in Detroit and Catholic University of America, in Washington, D.C.. He has a Master’s in International Relations from Georgetown University Graduate School of Foreign Service and Government and a Juris Doctor from Detroit College of Law.
