
Founded in 2000, the Chalfonte Foundation's mission is to provide spiritual, psychosocial, recreational, financial and educational support for children, youth and other individuals and families in need. Its purposes include:
Providing safe, recreational, instructive and spiritual experiences at Chalfonte House for special needs children and young adults, especially those living in handicapping or life-challenging circumstances.
Providing a place for hiking, peaceful reflection and respite in woods, meadow, cabins and at the campfire at Ryan Giannini Park (RGP) for campers, invited guests and for the community.
Providing an environment for renewal at Chalfonte House for:
Facilitating and supporting educational, recreational, psychosocial and spiritual activities and events at Chalfonte House and elsewhere to enhance the lives of children, youth and those who assist them.
Providing educational and developmental grants to children, youth and families in need to empower them in the development of their gifts and talents.
Providing emergency funding for children, individuals and families in need locally and around the world.
